LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A community fundraiser will be held this Saturday to benefit the family of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Officer Austin Abdelnabi.
The event, hosted by the Injured Police Officers Fund, is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will take place at the Nevada Coin Mart, located at 4065 S. Jones Blvd. in Las Vegas.

The IPOF, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1982, is inviting the local community, first responders, and area businesses to gather in support of Abdelnabi’s family.
According to organizers, all proceeds from the event will go directly to benefit the officer’s family.
