LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Former Clark County judge Jackie Glass died Friday, sources told FOX5.
Glass is the wife of current Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson and the mother of municipal court judge Rebecca Wolfson and Rachel Wolfson.

Former Clark County District Attorney David Roger released a statement on her passing:
“My family and I are very sad to hear about the passing of Jackie Glass. She was a respected jurist. But more importantly, she was a warm and friendly person.”
Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley posted the following statement on X:
“I am heartbroken and feel like I have lost a sister with the passing of Jackie Glass. We both started practicing law close to the same time and over the last 50 years I have been amazed to see everything she accomplished. The city of Las Vegas is sending good thoughts and love to Steve Wolfson, our colleague Municipal Court Judge Rebecca Wolfson and all of Jackie’s friends and family.”
Simpson trial
Glass was the presiding judge in the trial of Nevada v. Simpson in 2008. Simpson faced armed robbery and kidnapping charges in connection with an attempt to get sports collectibles from dealers at a Las Vegas hotel.
On October 3, 2008, Simpson was found guilty on all counts of robbery. Glass sentenced him to serve 9 to 33 years behind bars but he was out on parole in 2017. Simpson died in 2024.
Career
Glass served as a judge in the eighth judicial district court from 2003 until her retirement in 2011.
Sources say she was currently working as a mediator.
