LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A two-alarm fire damaged two homes in east Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon.
Officials with the Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) say fire dispatch received multiple calls reporting a house on fire just before 2 p.m. near Orovada Place and Laughlin Way.
Additional calls continue to come in stating another structure was also on fire, leading to more engines being dispatched.
Crews with CCFD, along with Las Vegas Fire & Rescue (LVFR), responded to the scene and found visible smoke and flames coming from a single story house and an adjacent 2-story home along Laughlin Way.

Firefighters attacked the blaze from multiple sides, confirming both structures were empty. After a second alarm was called at 2:12 p.m., crews brought the fire under control by 2:34 p.m.
A total of 63 personnel responded to the fire. No firefights were injured. One person was evaluated on the scene but refused medical transport, officials say.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
