LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas’ newest sports team will be opening training camps and hosting their first preseason scrimmages in November, the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced Thursday.
Training camps will open following the completion of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Denmark starting on Nov. 6.
PWHL Las Vegas, along will four other PWHL markets, will host two scrimmages as one of the newest franchises in the league.

PWHL Las Vegas will welcome the Minnesota Frost and Vancouver Goldeneyes to America First Center from Nov. 22 through Nov. 24.
Preseason scrimmage schedule:
- Nov. 22: Las Vegas vs. Minnesota at 6:50 p.m. PT
- Nov. 23: Minnesota vs. Vancouver at 1 p.m. PT
- Nov. 24: Vancouver vs. Las Vegas at 12 p.m. PT
All preseason scrimmages will be 60 minutes of full stoppage gameplay with 21-player lineups, followed by a 3-on-3 overtime and a shootout, regardless of the score.
PWHL training camp rosters will be announced the week of Oct. 5, with each team inviting between 28-32 players.
