LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 20-year-old man riding a scooter has died nearly two weeks after being struck by a vehicle in west Las Vegas, authorities said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office notified the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Thursday, Oct. 1, that K’Vohn Gray succumbed to his injuries at University Medical Center.
The crash occurred around 5:09 p.m. on Sept. 21 at the intersection of West Spring Mountain Road and South Cimarron Road.

According to police, a blue 2021 Chevrolet Camaro was heading westbound on Spring Mountain Road through a solid green traffic light. Gray, who was on a non-electric scooter, was crossing south from the northeast corner to the southeast corner of the intersection when he darted into the car’s path, investigators said.
Emergency medical personnel transported Gray to UMC’s Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Camaro remained at the scene, cooperated with officers, and showed no signs of impairment, police said.
Gray’s death marks the 91st traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction in 2026.
The collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
