LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County Fire Department is investigating a mobile home fire that killed several animals on Tuesday afternoon.
CCFD firefighters arrived at the mobile home in the 3400 block of Allegheny Drive around 5:36 p.m., and observed smoke and heavy fire coming from a trailer. Upon entering the residence, crews reported heavy heat and moderate visibility.
A search of the trailer found eight to ten deceased cats inside. Additionally, one person was treated by medical crews, but declined transport to the hospital.
The fire was extinguished at 6:08 p.m.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, though an investigation is ongoing.
