LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Faith Lutheran High School is asking for help finding a trailer that was stolen from the school’s parking lot Wednesday morning.
Surveillance video of the event shows a suspect dressed in all black hitching the trailer to a truck around 4:44 a.m. on May 15. The suspect then drives the trailer out of the parking lot.
A spokesperson for Faith Lutheran told FOX5 that staff noticed the trailer was gone after arriving at the school. “Students are feeling anywhere from heartbroken to angry about this. They all feel violated.”
The spokesperson says the trailer itself is worth $20,000, while the content inside is worth up to $25,000. Instruments, cables, and other materials were inside the trailer, which was custom-made for the school.
“It has a big Faith Lutheran logo on the side of it, so we’re hoping someone may have seen it,” the spokesperson said.
However, in addition to the band and color guard, other school organizations will also use the trailer from time to time, so the need to get the trailer back is urgent, officials say.
FOX5 has also reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for details about the search for the trailer. At the time of publication, we have not heard back.
This is a developing story, check back later for updates.
