LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – On Monday, Prince Law Group announced the law office closed, exactly five years to the date of opening.

On April 8th, the Summerlin law office was the site of a deadly shooting that killed founder Dennis Prince and his wife Ashley Prince during a child custody deposition.

The gunman, Joe Houston shot and killed former daughter-in-law Ashley and her current husband Dennis, before turning the gun on himself.

Joe was representing his son, Dylan in a years long custody battle for Dylan and Ashley’s two children.

On their website Monday, Prince Law Group said “We hoped to continue Dennis’s legacy, we simply could not persevere without him.”

While we hoped to continue Dennis’s legacy, we simply could not persevere without him. It has been our pleasure to represent so many deserving clients over the past five years.

We are forever grateful for their hard work and dedication in bringing the firm to an honorable close. Rest in Peace, Dennis.
