LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 is learning more about who was killed in a North Las Vegas shooting at an apartment complex.
The Clark County Coroner identified one victim as Kayla Harris, a 24-year-old from North Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of Casa Norte Dr. around 10 p.m. on Monday. Two women – one in her early 40s and the other in her late 50s – suffering from gunshot wounds were located at the scene and later declared dead.
Detectives would also discover multiple other victims, including two additional women in their mid-20s and a man in his early 20s. All three were pronounced dead.

47-year-old Eric Adams was identified as the gunman.
FOX5 saw a post from Adams State University in Colorado about Harris.
“I am personally devasted to learn of Kayla’s tragic death,” said President David Tandberg, Ph.D. “On behalf of the entire Adams State community, I express my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends and the entire Grizzly community during this extremely difficult time. We are truly overcome with the grief.”
The post says Harris completed her bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2023. She then started her master’s in business administration.
She was also a part of the women’s basketball team. The post says the team made their way to the DI National Championship Tournament.
