LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A hiker on the South Loop Trail in the Charleston Peak area was treated for a medical issue Sunday after search and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the trail after receiving a call about a hiker experiencing a medical emergency. Search and rescue personnel were dispatched, and the hiker was treated by medical personnel and released.
