LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Clark County judge has set bail at $50,000 for the man accused of attempting to lure and expose himself to an 11-year-old last week.
During Wednesday’s hearing, Judge Amy Chelini set bail and ordered that Irving Malagon refrain from contacting the victim.
On Thursday, Feb. 15, Malagon could be seen on surveillance video attempting to lure an 11-year-old girl who was walking home from school in the 7200 block of Cottonsparrow Street. According to police, Malagon was “inappropriately touching himself” during the encounter, which caused the girl to flee to a nearby house to ask for help.
According to a Metro arrest report, after denying involvement multiple times, Malagon claimed he was asking the girl a question and “really had to go to the bathroom,” so he began urinating.
Malagon currently booked at Clark County Detention Center and is facing charges of lewdness in the presence of a child, luring a child, and attempted kidnapping.
He is due back in court on Wednesday, March 6.
