LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Boring Company says they have received Clark County approval for 19 new Vegas Loop stations, with four planned in Chinatown.

Business owner anticipated stop

Joe Muscialone, managing partner of Shanghai Taste, said he had been hoping for the expansion.

“When I pinched and zoomed in on it, one happened to be right here,” Muscialone said.

Pacifica Vegas, a three-story entertainment complex, is set to break ground later this year. Muscialone said he is also going to be involved with creating a visitor center there.

“If you only go to Chinatown Plaza and you just look around that plaza, you don’t realize there’s 26 more plazas that make up to Chinatown,” Muscialone said.

Second station near Jade Promenade

Another upcoming station is slated to stop near the Jade Promenade, another planned entertainment and food center. Developer Ali Kaveh said a Chinatown stop will be a game-changer for accessibility.

“As long as it’s in Chinatown, I think it’s going to really help the traffic flow and people,” Kaveh said.

“And so, if you imagine people coming to town, staying at the Wynn or Encore, and then they just take the car and come here in Chinatown in probably less than five minutes,” Kaveh said.
