LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A robbery suspect is currently involved in a standoff with Las Vegas police in the east valley.
Metro said the suspect stole a vehicle near Desert Inn Road and South Maryland Parkway late Thursday night.
The vehicle was located in the 4800 block of Boulder Highway, and that is where police believe the suspect is tied up in an apartment unit, refusing to exit.
Police warn the public to avoid the area.
