LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The man accused of throwing a dog into a dumpster has posted bail, according to court records.

Public records show that Alexis Flores, 30, has been released from the Clark County jail Friday morning after being arrested and booked Thursday evening.

The records indicate he made a payment of $50 to get out via a bail bond company.

Surveillance video from the neighborhood shows the man dangling a chihuahua by his legs before throwing him into the dumpster on Monday. The dog would later be rescued by a nearby resident.

Flores is due in court Friday afternoon.

This is a developing story.
