LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain on The Strip well into the next decade, with Clark County commissioners scheduled to vote Tuesday on extending the race’s contract through 2037.
The proposal added 10 years to the current agreement, which runs through next year. Organizers have promoted the event, first held in 2023, as a financial success for Southern Nevada.

But the race has also drawn criticism from some local residents and small business owners who say road construction and traffic disruptions tied to preparing the circuit have hurt day-to-day operations and access in the area.
