LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Just days after setting a February 2 strike deadline for over 20 Las Vegas Strip and Downtown properties, the culinary union has reached a tentative agreement with one of them.
According to a social media post, the Culinary 226 union has agreed to terms on a five-year contract with the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas.
The union said that the contract will apply to nearly 300 workers at the City Center property. Negotiations continue with 20 remaining independent properties, including Circus Circus, Rio, and Sahara.
