LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Raiders rookie minicamp is underway in Henderson, giving the team its first look at rookie Fernando Mendoza on the field in silver and black.
Mendoza said the first few days have come with a steep learning curve as he adjusts to the pace and details of the NFL.

“The advice I’ve gotten as a rookie you just try to learn as much as possible right now,” Mendoza said. “There is a lot of information — it’s coming like a fire hose — but I’m just trying to take it all in to get better every single day.”
Mendoza said his focus is on attention to detail and building chemistry with teammates as the Raiders continue offseason work.
Organized team activities, known as OTAs, are scheduled to begin in about two weeks.
