LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Fifteen members of the 2026 UNLV softball team received Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Award, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced.
The Scarlet & Gray also earned a Team GPA award among Division I programs after collecting a 3.52 cumulate average this past year.
Rebels earning the individual honors for GPAs of 3.5 and greater were Charelle Aki, Gwyn Burnett, Taryn Calderon, Keyannah Chavez, Rachel Cook, Raegen Everett, Lauren Fettic, Hailey Gilbertson, Lyla Gonzalez, Mantha Hatzenbeller, Sophie Stockam, Natalie Turner, Emma Wardlaw, Amelia Weber and Bri Williams.
Chavez and Fettic were previously voted to the NFCA’s All-West Region Team for their on-field performance.
Additionally, the Rebels had five named to the CSC Academic All-District team, which were Aki, Chavez, Hatzenbeller, Turner and Williams.
UNLV closed out the season with a 31-22 overall record and an 18-7 Mountain West record. The Rebels made their second appearance at the MW Softball Championships since the conference reinstated the tournament in 2023 with the No. 2 seed for the second time.
