LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Henderson police officer was injured after a crash on the 215, according to Nevada State Police.
Around 7:48 a.m. on Tuesday, state troopers responded to a crash involving a Henderson police motorcycle officer and a white Ford Edge on the 215 southern beltway at Windmill Lane.
Sources tell FOX5 the motorcycle officer was conducting traffic enforcement in the area before the crash.

The officer was transported to Sunrise Hospital, according to a source, but the extent of their injuries remains unclear.
215 and Windmill area ramps will be closed during the investigation, troopers say.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
