LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson police officers have responded to a scene where a suspect reportedly barricaded himself in a residence following a vehicular crash.
According to an HPD report, the incident is unfolding on the 4900 block of Andover Drive. Police said that the barricade is “connected” to a motor vehicle crash that happened at approximately 3:00 p.m. near the area of Warm Springs Rd. and Marks St.
Police said that information indicates that a possible robbery-carjacking took place at the scene of the crash, but added that all details are “still very preliminary.” No injuries have been reported.
LVMPD Air, Patrol, and K9 units are assisting. HPD SWAT is en route to the scene. Police advise avoiding both areas.
