LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are now searching for the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run crash that left one person dead.

It happened just before 5:30 pm Wednesday near Tropicana Avenue and Sandhill Road. Metro says a pedestrian was crossing Tropicana outside a crosswalk when the car hit them. Paramedics took them to the hospital, but they died from their injuries. The car that hit them didn’t stop.
