LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Someone has defaced a campaign billboard for Governor Joe Lombardo in Las Vegas.

A billboard for Lombardo is located near the 215 and Summerlin Parkway. FOX5 visited the billboard and saw someone has added a mustache and the words, “Come on, man,” to the sign.

The phrase refers to the Metro Police traffic stop where a sergeant reportedly pulled Lombardo over for a red-light violation.

FOX5 has reached out to Las Vegas Metro Police and Lombardo’s campaign office.

The campaign office said they had no comment, but Metro is running an “independent investigation.” FOX5 has followed up with Las Vegas police for further details.
