LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County Commission approved a construction contract for a new Fire Training Center that will replace existing structures on a 6.26-acre site.
The project calls for demolishing current buildings and constructing a new facility designed to maximize use of the site and allow room for future expansion, county officials said.

Plans include a three-story parking garage with a two-story training center, an 8,400-square-foot fire station, a premanufactured burn tower, and a maintenance building.
Officials said the updated layout is intended to provide plenty of space for training exercises and long-term growth.
