LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas City Council recognized a local charter school’s award-winning robotics team during Wednesday’s city council meeting.
Ward 3 Councilwoman Olivia Diaz recognized the Innovations International Charter School Robotics Team.

The team recently earned second place in the statewide competition and received a first-place trophy for robot design.
The team was also one of only 90 teams in the world invited to compete in the Western Edge Open Invitational, which featured teams from more than 30 countries.
