LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Fire & Rescue began receiving multiple calls at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday for a fire at a one-story, garden-style apartment complex at 1300 S. Casino Center Blvd., according to fire officials.
Callers reported the fire had spread to multiple buildings, and the incident was upgraded to a two-alarm fire to ensure adequate resources were on scene, officials said.
Crews respond, contact NV Energy
Crews arrived three minutes after being assigned to the call, according to fire officials.
Crews contacted NV Energy because multiple power poles were on fire, officials said.
Crews began operations to contain and extinguish the fire and worked for more than ten minutes to put it out, according to fire officials.
No injuries reported
No injuries were reported by civilians or fire personnel, officials said.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
The scene remains active, and crews are still on-site completing overhaul, according to fire officials.
