LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation awarded $100,000 to five Nevada-based nonprofits through its Community Giveaway ahead of the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026.
Each organization received $20,000. The donations were presented during a ceremony at Grand Prix Plaza. A selection committee chose the five recipients from 148 applicants.

“This donation is about uplifting the organizations that support our community every day,” said Lori Nelson-Kraft, senior vice president of Community Affairs for Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. “Out of 148 remarkable applicants, these five recipients exemplify the dedication, heart, and transformative work happening across Southern Nevada.”
The recipients are Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, Spread the Word Nevada, Communities in Schools, UNLV College of Sciences, and Nevada Partners. The funds will support youth services, literacy programs, school support services, and STEM education initiatives across Southern Nevada.
