LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 37-year-old man has been arrested in Las Vegas in connection to a hit-and-run involving a Review-Journal employee, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
LVMPD report, Eric McDaniels was arrested on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
The collision happened on April 23 around 7:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of St. Louis Avenue, near Fremont Street and Sahara Avenue.
Officials with the Review-Journal identified the victim as Sam Morris, who was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck while riding a bicycle, according to reports.
McDaniels faces charges for failing to stop at the scene of a crash, police said.
