LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas officially ended a 124-day streak without measurable rainfall Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas.

NWS Las Vegas said the official observation site at LAS airport recorded 0.01 inches of rain Wednesday morning.

As of 5:19 a.m., rain was falling at the weather service office, NWS Las Vegas said.

The weather service said showers were hit and miss, but were expected to continue through Wednesday afternoon.
