LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police announced that a third suspect is in custody in connection with a deadly shooting from last month.
On January 17 at approximately 12:13 a.m., LVMPD Dispatch received a report of a shooting on the 1400 block of Helen Belle Drive. Officers arrived on the scene and found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene, inside a residence.
The investigation by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated that the victim was involved in a physical altercation inside the residence with several subjects before he was shot. All suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
During the investigation, detectives identified Shaleece Brown, 33, as a suspect. On January 23, Brown turned herself in to authorities at the Clark County Detention Center. She is facing four charges, including open murder and residential burglary.
A second suspect, 56-year-old David Lynn Coulson, Sr. was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department on January 28. He was booked into a Los Angeles area jail on one count of open murder pending extradition to Las Vegas.
On Feb. 5, Veronica Nezey, 54, turned herself in to authorities at the Clark County Detention Center. She is facing a charge of open murder.
