LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a deadly shooting in the south valley.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on Sunday just after 9:30 p.m. in the 10600 block of Dean Martin Drive near Cactus Avenue. Police say a male was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside an apartment.
Officers started to perform aid until medical personnel arrived. Police say he died at the scene.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
The Clark County Coroner’s office is expected to release the name of the victim following notification of kin.
