LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — March Madness is coming to Las Vegas.
The NCAA women’s basketball tournament will bring the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight to T-Mobile Arena in March 2027, according to the NCAA. Las Vegas and Philadelphia are slated to host those rounds.
Las Vegas is also set to host the NCAA men’s Final Four in 2028 at Allegiant Stadium, according to the NCAA.
The announcements add to the Las Vegas Valley’s growing slate of major sporting events and could give UNLV programs a chance to play postseason games in their home market.

UNLV men’s coach Josh Pastner, coming off a first season that ended in the second round of the NIT, said the program’s focus is on playing meaningful games late into the season.
“The best thing we can do is compete and play meaningful games into late February and into March,” Pastner said.
Pastner retained Isaac Williamson and Tyrin Jones from last season’s roster, the script said. The Runnin’ Rebels have also been holding early morning summer workouts as they prepare for the fall.
