LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Days after an avalanche hit Mount Charleston, Lee Canyon reopened its slopes with plenty on Thursday of powder awaiting skiers.
Operators say they got 51 inches of snow in just the past three days – 18 inches Wednesday night alone! That brings this year’s total base to 135 inches so far.
Lee Canyons warns skiers to take care when driving to the resort. They advise preparing for road restrictions and delays, and they urge drivers to only install chains in designated areas.
