The dates are expected to fall on June 28 and the 29th.

The Associated Press previously reported NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said the draft at the Sphere would be dramatic and compelling.

“I think it’ll be a pretty well viewed event, both in terms of the draft itself and the viral use of The Sphere inside and outside using the globe. So we think it’ll be fun. We think it’ll be dramatic and compelling,” Bettman said

During the board meeting, officials said the NHL will hold its 62nd NHL draft and provide the LVCVA marketing assets. The draft is expected to bring in 4,500 visitors and have an economic impact of $9.6 million.
