LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The “100 Deadliest Days of Summer” are here, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is sharing new numbers aimed at curbing crashes.
LVMPD released a list of the 50 intersections with the highest number of collisions in May 2026, highlighting trouble spots across the valley.
Police say officers are working daily to keep roads safe, but stressed that traffic safety is a shared responsibility.

Drivers are urged to review the list and consider whether these are routes they and their families travel every day. They’re also asking drivers to slow down, stay focused, and stay alert to help prevent serious crashes during the busy summer months.
LVMPD also shared some of the most common traffic citations issued in May 2026, including:
- Speeding (11–20 mph over the limit)
- No valid driver’s license
- Disobeying a traffic control device
