LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – LVMPD rescued a woman being held against her will by an individual with an attempted murder warrant out of California.
Police responded to the incident on Oct. 30, located at the 5500 block of Mountain Vista Street.
According to LVMPD, the victim said she had been substantially injured throughout the past month, and the suspect had threatened to kill her.
Just before 11:30 p.m., FOX5 confirmed a large police presence at the Quinn apartments in Henderson and witnessed them launch the LVMPD Drone Unit for assistance.
LVMPD reported that crisis negotiations were unsuccessful. Police then turned to tactical options, which led to the suspect’s surrender and arrest.
The female was safely taken out of the residence.
