LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcyclist was killed Thursday morning in a crash east of the 215 near South Decatur Boulevard, according to Nevada State Police.
On April 16, 2026, Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to the crash around 6 a.m. near the South Decatur Boulevard on-ramp in Clark County, officials said.

Following an investigation, officials determined the motorcyclist was traveling on a black 2009 Buell XB12XP Ulysses when they failed to remain within their lane. The rider drifted into the right shoulder lane and struck a concrete wall, according to Highway Patrol Officers. The motorcycle overturned, and the rider was ejected.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Clark County coroner’s office is expected to release the identity.
The crash remains under investigation by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Major Incident Reconstruction Team, officials said.
NSP reports there have been 20 fatal crashes resulting in 23 fatalities so far this year.
