LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Justice Department has served seven subpoenas on Nevada’s secretary of state, asking for voter information ahead of this fall’s midterm election.
The move is part of a broader Trump administration push to investigate alleged voter fraud and tighten election rules in multiple states.

Francisco Aguilar, Nevada’s secretary of state, gave FOX5 a statement saying, in part, “The right to vote is written clearly in the constitution, and we cannot take that right away without the highest confidence of a person’s ineligibility.”
