LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person was confirmed dead Monday night in a single-vehicle crash that has closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 15 at Tropical Parkway.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of the crash at 10:54 p.m. on southbound I-15 at the Tropical Parkway southbound off-ramp at the gore, according to Nevada State Police.
The crash involved one sedan vehicle. One person has been confirmed deceased on scene.
All southbound I-15 travel lanes are closed at Exit 55 (Speedway). All southbound I-15 traffic is being diverted off onto the I-15/Exit 54 off-ramp. Traffic can continue east on Speedway to Las Vegas Boulevard to continue southbound.
The southbound I-15 travel lanes will be closed for an unknown amount of time for investigation.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and avoid the area.
