LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A suspected impaired driver hit multiple parked cars at Town Square on Sunday evening in what police are calling a hit-and-run.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. at the shopping center just south of the Las Vegas Strip.
Heather Morris was outside Guitar Center when she says she saw the SUV involved. Morris said she and her band were loading a drum set into their car when they heard a loud crash.
“A huge bang… it was absolutely insane,” she said.

“He sped, and he was so fast around that corner. And we were like, jumped up and back on top of the sidewalk because he could have come and sideswiped our car, sideswiped us,” Morris recounted.
Her friend took pictures of the fleeing SUV and captured the license plate. The front plate, along with the front bumper and grill, was also left at the scene.
The SUV stopped in a nearby parking lot. Las Vegas Metro Police said the driver was arrested for suspected impairment.
“He had that look in his eye when he was driving, completely calm, calm. That’s what was scary because he could have done anything else, anything. He just wrecked 7 cars,” Morris said.
Metro did not provide the driver’s name or the number of charges they are facing. Town Square declined to comment on the incident.
