LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Thursday morning, Clark County School District students took part in the Great Nevada Shake Out.

It’s a statewide earthquake preparedness drill. It’s part of a global campaign promoting earthquake safety. The exercise took place across Nevada schools, colleges and universities, including UNLV and CSN.

Nevada is the third most seismically active state in the continental United States.
