LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – On Wednesday morning, the NFL and members of law enforcement agencies provided an overview of public safety plans for Super Bowl week in Las Vegas.

The 10:30 a.m. briefing at the Super Bowl Media Center included members of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Secret Service, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the NFL.

Featured speakers will include Cathy Lanier, the NFL’s Chief Security Officer; U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas; Karon Ransom, U.S. Secret Service Special Agent In-Charge; Spencer Evans, FBI Las Vegas Special Agent In-Charge; and LVMPD Sheriff Kevin McMahill.
