NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — North Las Vegas announced it is opening the city’s splash pads as a warming trend is expected throughout the weekend.
City of North Las Vegas splash pads are scheduled to open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from May 1 through Sept. 30, city park officials said.

City officials said hours and availability may change without notice, and splash pads can close at any time for maintenance.
The city’s splash pads are located at:
- Aliante Nature Discovery Park, 2627 Nature Park Drive, North Las Vegas, NV 89084
- Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 W. Craig Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89032
- Nicholas Flores Park, 4133 Allen Lane, North Las Vegas, NV 89032
- Hartke Park, 1900 E. Tonopah Ave., North Las Vegas, NV 89030
- Prentiss Walker Park, 1509 June St., North Las Vegas, NV 89032
- Tropical Breeze Park, 1505 E. Tropical Parkway, North Las Vegas, NV 89081
Park officials said splash pad surfaces are made with recycled rubber to provide traction and help keep the surface cooler. They said children must be supervised at all times and noted there are no lifeguards on duty.
To report an emergency or unacceptable behavior, residents can contact the City of North Las Vegas Police Department at (702) 633-911 or dial 911, according to city officials. If there is a mechanical problem, you can report it to the City of North Las Vegas park officials.
Posted splash pad rules include:
- Keep gate closed at all times
- Plastic beverage containers only
- No pets in the splash pad area
- No smoking
- Water-appropriate swimwear required
- Water diapers required
- Children 7 and younger must be supervised by an adult
- No horseplay or running
- Do not drink the water
- Splash pads cannot be reserved
- Use during inclement weather is prohibited
- Bathing is not allowed
