OLYMPIC VILLAGE, California (KOLO) – Update at 12:04 p.m.: The PCSO says the critical incident was an officer-involved shooting and that the agency is assisting California State Parks with the investigation.
Investigators say there is no danger to the public, but still ask people to avoid the area.
Original Article: The Placer County Sheriff’s Office say they are currently responding to what they say is a “critical incident” at Olympic Village Inn at Palisades Tahoe.
In a tweet, the PCSO say the incident is stable, but a large police presence remains.
They ask people to avoid the area.
