LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person was hospitalized Wednesday morning following a crash involving a dump truck that overturned in North Las Vegas, police say.
Around 6:49 a.m., officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department responded to a crash in the intersection of North Hollywood Boulevard and East Centennial Parkway. The crash involved a Toyota Corolla and a Peterbilt dump truck.

Police say the crash caused the dump truck to overturn onto its side, which also blocked traffic in the intersection.
Media crews transported on person to UMC for treatment, though the extent of their injuries is unclear.
Emergency crews are on scene working to clear the roadway, police say.
An investigation in the area is ongoing, and the public is advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
