LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash involving one of its vehicles and a moped.
According to a preliminary report, the incident happened at the intersection of Grand Central Parkway and Charleston Boulevard at approximately 5:43 p.m. on Thursday. Police said that the moped driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
An investigation is ongoing and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
