LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A woman was killed in a crash in the southeast Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday night.
According to a preliminary report, she was crossing Tropicana Ave. east of Stephanie St. just after 7 p.m. while outside of a designated crosswalk. The pedestrian was hit by a truck while in the roadway and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the crash. Tropicana was closed in both directions from Stephanie to Steptoe. An investigation is ongoing.
