LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a homicide in the northwest valley.
Officers responded to reports of someone lying unresponsive in an alley located in the 5300 block of Cheyenne Avenue, near Rancho Drive.
Officials say officers found a 40-year-old man who was shot and later died on the scene despite life-saving efforts.
Homicide detectives investigating believe there was an argument around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, which led to a gun being fired.
LVMPD reports this to be an isolated incident. They ask anyone with information to contact the department.
