LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Red Rock Canyon’s scenic drive will be closed due to weather, officials posted to social media Thursday night.
According to the post, the scenic drive and the visitor center will be closed on Friday due to snow, ice on roadways, and hazardous conditions. Staff at Red Rock say they will reevaluate conditions at 12 p.m.
“Please note that closures may be extended depending on road safety,” officials say. “The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
FOX5’s First Alert Weather forecast says a wind advisory is in place for most of Clark County until 4 a.m. Friday morning.
