LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County prosecutors will be seeking the death penalty against a man accused of a shooting outside a east valley laundromat that killed one and left another injured last month.
The decision was announced during a Thursday morning hearing, and the case will head to the Death Penalty Review Committee.

Abdul Muhammad, 39, is accused of shooting two people outside of a laundromat near Craig Road and Nellis Boulevard on June 18 around 9:03 p.m.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, police say, while the woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Police say the two had been involved in a verbal altercation with Muhammad before he pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds at them.
Muhammad is due back in court on Aug. 13 for arraignment.
