LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two downtown Las Vegas staples are celebrating a historic turnout following this year’s FIFA World Cup.
Officials with Circa Resort & Casino and the D Las Vegas announced the properties welcomed more than 400,000 soccer fans during the 39-day tournament.
Both venues hosted lively watch parties for all 104 matches, drawing passionate crowds representing 96 countries.
“Even without hosting a match, Las Vegas became one of the most exciting places in the world to witness the World Soccer Championship,” said Derek Stevens, CEO and owner of Circa and the D.
“Fans from across the globe chose to watch the tournament here, reinforcing Las Vegas’ position as a premier international sports destination where world-class viewing experiences, entertainment, accommodations and dining come together unlike anywhere else.”

Key highlights at Circa included a high-energy kickoff pep rally, exclusive meet-and-greets, and daily giveaways.
